Local SEO Services · Google Business Profile & Maps
Local SEO servicesthat put your businessin the map pack.
I help local businesses show up when nearby customers search, on Google Maps, in the local pack, and increasingly in AI answers to “best near me” questions. That means an optimized Google Business Profile, consistent listings, a steady flow of reviews, and service pages that actually rank in your area.
The Short Answer
What do local SEO services include?
Local SEO services improve how a business ranks in location-based searches and on Google Maps. The core work is optimizing the Google Business Profile, keeping the business name, address, and phone number consistent across directories, earning and responding to reviews, building location and service pages, and adding LocalBusiness schema. Google ranks local results on relevance, distance, and prominence, and each part of the work strengthens one of those.
If Any of This Sounds Familiar
Competitors with worse service show up in the map pack, and you don’t.
Your Google Business Profile was set up years ago and hasn’t been touched since.
Your business name, address, or phone number is different on Yelp, Facebook, and old directories.
You get great feedback in person, but only a handful of Google reviews.

Why a Developer
Local SEO with the website fixed too
A perfect Google Business Profile can’t make up for a slow, thin website.
Your profile links to your site, and Google uses that site to judge relevance. Most local SEO providers only manage listings. As a frontend developer, I also fix the pages your profile points to, so the service pages, speed, and schema support your map rankings instead of holding them back.
At Spark & Wire I run SEO and digital marketing across multiple client websites, from keyword research to CRM-driven campaigns, and I previously led SEO for Mzad Qatar, one of Qatar’s largest marketplaces. See the case studies →

FAQ
Local SEO questions, answered plainly
How do I rank in the Google Maps local pack?
Google ranks local results on relevance, distance, and prominence. To improve, choose accurate categories and services in your Google Business Profile, keep your details consistent across directories, earn reviews steadily, and make sure your website has strong pages for each core service. Distance to the searcher is outside your control, so the other two factors matter most.
Can you do local SEO for a business in another country?
Yes. Google Business Profile, directories, reviews, and your website are all managed online, so local SEO works remotely. I research how people search in your area and use the directories that matter in your country, such as Yell in the UK or True Local in Australia.
How long does local SEO take to show results?
Profile and listing improvements can show movement within a few weeks. In competitive cities and categories, building enough reviews and authority to hold a top-three map position usually takes three to six months.
Should I create a page for every city I serve?
Only where you have something genuinely specific to say, such as local projects, staff, or service details. Near-identical pages with only the city name changed can be treated by Google as doorway pages, which can hurt rather than help.
Do Google reviews affect local rankings?
Yes. Google says review count and rating contribute to prominence, and reviews strongly influence whether people click. Ask every happy customer, respond to all reviews, and never buy reviews or only ask customers you expect to leave positive ones, which breaks Google’s policies.
Do I need a physical address to rank locally?
No. Service-area businesses that visit customers can hide their address and list the areas they serve instead. You do need to genuinely serve those areas, and the business must be eligible for a Google Business Profile.
